As well as our public events, 200 children from local primary schools enjoyed two specially designed days of themed outdoor learning activities on site, supported by funds from the Ernest Cook Trust and Heritage Lottery Fund.

Goonhilly School 2015
Year 5 & 6 children from the Keskowethyans Multi-Academy Trust of five local primary schools joined us on Goonhilly Village Green for a fun day of activities devised by commissioned artists Liminal, with Claire Scott and the National Trust Outdoor Rangers, students from Falmouth University’s BA Architecture course and storyteller Mark Harandon.
“Thank you to everyone involved in the organisation of such an exciting, thought-provoking and informative day.”

Goonhilly School 2019
Year 6 children from the schools joined us again for more fun outdoor learning and an antidote to SATS! Supported by funds from the Ernest Cook Trust and Heritage Lottery Fund, the children enjoyed a day of hands-on of activities themed around the artists’ commissions, devised and delivered by Great Scott! Adventures Outdoors, Miraclewood Outdoors and the GVG team.
“The feedback at school has been overwhelmingly positive. The children had a fantastic time.”
